“I originally hired Joe Baisden as a deckhand in 2022, and we worked together for just under 2 years. Whilst I have very little knowledge of the concept of DJing, Joe’s musical talent and ability was quickly recognised by those that did. His role shifted to that of Deckhand / DJ and he became a critical part of any event. Joe would spend many hours preparing music that was tailored to each specific theme of the day or night. Joe also has a great personality and was very well liked by the owner, his family and their guests”

Joe (aka Spinning plates) is one of the most diverse DJs we have ever witnessed. Even though Techno is his speciality, it’s safe to say he can mix any genre to a world class standard for any event. I have seen it first hand onboard from intimate family gatherings who love the oldies & cultural/country specific house music, to last minute pop up crew or organised events that have had over a thousand people bouncing off the walls. I have even seen Joe step into various venues last minute across the South of France & basically steal the show from the main act. Don’t think about booking him, just book. It will be the best thing you have done all year. It won’t be long before you won’t be able to reach him at all..

Spinning Plates is an artist with over 12 years of experience, blending ambient, underground electronic, and accessible dance music.
Spinning Plates' journey has seen him complete a BA in Events Management and a MSc in Audio Production. Spinning Plates' experience includes local shows, radio sessions, studio work, and performances on yachts across Europe and the Caribbean. Now based in the UK, his focus is on developing original productions and building a DJ career with the aim of connecting with new audiences, and bringing something meaningful to every set.
